That is an interesting use of words. There actually is but it’s not what she meant by her statement. Another word besides bullet would probably be better. Just an honest observation.
True. What word would you use?
It could be as simple as answer, but others probably better could be solution, resolution, key, or remedy. Of those choices, I think I like solution the best. If, however, you are looking for something tangible then key is the better choice.

What do you think of those? I think they give the same message without using a truly possible way of changing things for the worse. Even pill would be a better substitute, but it has the same problem as bullet.
