Definition of a Pioneer of Peace:
1. Those who walk a path cleared by love.
2. Those who walk; not just talk.
It is possible the next Buddha will not take the form of an individual. The next Buddha may take the form of a community, a community practicing understanding and loving kindness, a community practicing mindful living.

Cottonwood Mindfulness Sangha
“A Sangha is a community of people, supporting each other in mindful living. Our gatherings are an opportunity for practicing together joyfully. The essence of a Sangha is awareness, understanding, acceptance, harmony, and love.”
~Thich Nhat HanhOur meetings are non-partisan and secular; however because mindfulness finds its roots in the teachings of the historic Buddha, we study Buddhist philosophy and use some terminology from the Pali language. We gather the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month.
“Alone, we are vulnerable, but with friends to work with, we can support each other. We cannot go to the ocean as a drop of water - we would evaporate before reaching our destination. But if we become the river, if we go as a Sangha, we are sure to arrive at the ocean…”
